Best known for his non violent ways of advancing the Civil Rights Movement in the 1950s and 1960s. His goal was of course, to establish equality among all races. His famous speech "I Have a Dream" speech is considered to be among the greatest speeches in American History. He was arrested 20 times and his home was bombed. On April 4th, he was shot and killed as he walked onto the balcony in front of his room. He was just 39 years old.
